They were always a minority and were keen to interbreed in all of their states. <a href=\"https:\/\/aeon.co\/ideas\/how-dna-traced-the-ashkenazic-jews-to-northeastern-turkey\">T\u00fcrkiye, for example is a complete mosaic of all the gene pool around.<\/a> In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/bmcgenomics.biomedcentral.com\/articles\/10.1186\/1471-2164-15-963\">such a complex DNA pool is also a result of being a transit point of all civilization.<\/a> USA is not a transit point but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loc.gov\/exhibits\/religion\/rel01.html\">a migrant destination.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apart from being nations of immigrants, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unrefugees.org\/refugee-facts\/statistics\/\">T\u00fcrkiye and USA formally host the greatest number of immigrants world-wide.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T\u00fcrkiye and United States of America desperately need immigrant work force to sustain their economy. Although it&#8217;s rapidly declining <a href=\"https:\/\/hai.stanford.edu\/news\/how-have-attitudes-towards-us-immigration-changed\">Americans mostly view immigrants positively.<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2022\/7\/27\/rising-anti-refugee-sentiment-leads-debate-turkey\">Turks are evenly divided in terms of refugees.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecoi.net\/en\/document\/2055130.html\">T\u00fcrkiye <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/stats\/cbp-enforcement-statistics\">United states <\/a>face significant challanges on smuggling and trafficking and spend considerable efforts to combat. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldetentionproject.org\/countries\/europe\/turkey\">Detention and deportation seems alike in two countries. <\/a>Both send non legal immigrants to home, not being too strict over the informal work-force that is necessary for the economy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Differences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>T\u00fcrkiye originates from Asian and Eurasian cultures. USA originates from Western, particularly north-western Europe and Latin American cultures. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/short-reads\/2018\/01\/29\/where-displaced-syrians-have-resettled\/\">T\u00fcrkiye hosts mostly Middle Eastern refugees, primarily 3.4 million Syrians,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/short-reads\/2024\/07\/22\/key-findings-about-us-immigrants\/\">USA hosts mostly Latin American immigrants, South Asians come second.<\/a> Afghans, Uzbeks and Syrians see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icmpd.org\/content\/download\/50571\/file\/January%202021%20Policy%20Brief%20-%20Turkey%20Policy%20Brief%20%20-Irregular%20Migration.pdf\">T\u00fcrkiye as a jumping board, USA is usually the end node. <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worlddata.info\/country-comparison.php?country1=TUR&amp;country2=USA\">USA is 13 times bigger and 1\/3 denste, despite being 250 million more people.<\/a> The USA can handle many times the number of immigrants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-middle-east-50101688\">T\u00fcrkiye shares land borders of warring and civil strifen countries<\/a> such as Syria, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia and maritime borders with Cyprus, Ukraine, Russia, Palestine, Israel, Egypy, Lebanon. This makes T\u00fcrkiye binding to international agreements over taking the refugees in, however USA only accepts the much needed work force for itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T\u00fcrkiye has a relatively weak passport compared to USA, and doesn&#8217;t require visas for most countries. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.henleyglobal.com\/passport-index\/ranking\">The ease of visa meks Turkey vulnerable for illegal immigration.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.invest.gov.tr\/en\/investmentguide\/pages\/acquiring-property-and-citizenship.aspx\">Turkey provides citizenship through investment or buying Turkish bonds. <\/a> It&#8217;s significantly harder to obtain USA citizenship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/neighbourhood-enlargement.ec.europa.eu\/enlargement-policy\/turkiye\/eu-support-refugees-turkiye_en\">T\u00fcrkiye needs foreign aid to sustain immigrants,<\/a> and comply with international conventions. <a href=\"https:\/\/humanrightsfirst.org\/library\/assessment-u-s-compliance-with-the-refugee-convention-at-its-70th-anniversary\/\">USA usually takes independent steps <\/a>in managing the situation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turkeyanalyst.org\/publications\/turkey-analyst-articles\/item\/673-playing-with-fire-turkey%E2%80%99s-social-democrats-turn-against-migrants.html\">Turkish leftist opposition party CHP is against immigration, conservatist ruling party AKP is supportive. <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/globalaffairs.org\/research\/public-opinion-survey\/democrats-and-republicans-split-over-immigration-levels\">American leftist ruling party DP is supportive to immigration, conservatist RP is against immigration.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/us.boell.org\/en\/2022\/08\/17\/immigration-politics-refugees-turkey-and-2023-elections\">T\u00fcrkiye provides basic healtcare and schooling for refugees<\/a>, on the other hand, <a href=\"https:\/\/journalistsresource.org\/home\/how-migrants-asylum-seekers-and-refugees-seek-health-care-in-the-us-a-primer-and-research-roundup\/\">US. doesn&#8217;t even provide healthcare to its natural citizens. <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Historical context T\u00fcrkiye and USA share the common feature of being established by migrants in late modernity.
