Human lives in its mind

Human construct life in their heads

As humanity, we are at the edge of being coded and living inside our heads. Despite knowing they might die at any moment, individuals contribute to culture; despite knowing it will eventually disappear, humanity builds cities. As a result of creating in our minds, we build a civilization that didn’t exist before. Yet, whike we create while ignoring certain things also warns us of a danger. Humans might code themselves as independent from the world and become detached from reality. They may choose to live in a world of imagination rather than in reality. The greatest danger for an individual comes from their greatest richness. Expecting the world to conform to them, they may lose touch with reality in their own constructions.

Psychological disorders, psychoses, neuroses, and even schizophrenia are the arrows heading into darkness on their own. In fact, everyone is somewhat ill in this sense; we have defense mechanisms that result from existing at the edges of life’s construction. This is why implementing the solutions mentioned here is quite difficult. We perceive the world from our own framework and interpret it differently to survive under our own conditions. It’s fortunate that slaves, nobles, the sick, and people in difficult situations find excuses to continue living thanks to this. We alter our perception to bear harsh truths. Even the bravest and most honest among us see the world through the lens of their culture and humanity. However, our greatest works seem monstrous to other species, and our wisest seem mad.

Human perception can change.

Tourists come from across the world to explore our city, yet we may want to rush through and escape it. We grow tired of the silence others find happiness in and seek noise. We may detest a life that others dream of, fail to notice those who love us, and yearn for environments where we are unloved. All these stem from individual flexibility and the malleability of being at the edges. We have no choice but to use this flexibility. If the state or family does not fill the void, the individual will. If an individual does not receive love, they fill it with hatred and begin to live in a fictional world instead of the world they hate. Inevitably, humans are free and political beings. Therefore, it is our duty to educate people, to provide them with the necessary tools, even if it seems unpleasant. But how should we do this?
